iOS developer Jake Blair open-sourced Spice untethered jailbreak for iOS 11. Also, it is an “unfinished” iOS 11 untether Jailbreak. It works smoothly on all iOS 11 versions & all devices.
This is based on the unsigned code at boot on iOS 11 written by JakeBlair420 team. The famous jailbreak developers @s1guza, @stek29, @sparkey, @littlelailo are part of the team. Also, this team previously created a totally-not.spyware.lol semi-untethered Safari jailbreak for 64-bit devices running iOS. This Spyware contains bootstraps for both doubleh3lix and Meridian jailbreak tools.

Developer littlelailo demonstrated “achieving unsigned code execution at boot on iOS 11 and using that to jailbreak the device” last December in the 36th Chaos Communication Congress (36C3) took place in Leipzig. He explained how you can start out with a daemon config file and end up with kernel code execution.
Also, Jake Blair published a demonstration video about spicy iOS 11 untether Jailbreak on YouTube just before the year. At that time, he didn’t mention ETA.
With this new move he has pinned this video on his twitter account again. Also, Spice Jailbreak open-source tool available to download on JakeBlair420’s Github page.
What is a untethered jailbreak
Actually, there is no untethered jailbreak release since Pangu for iOS 9 Jailbreak. After that it has released many jailbreak tools, but all the tools are Semi-untethered. Even iOS 11 has Jailbreak such as Electra, Unc0ver & Chimera and other few tools. It should need powerful exploits and developmental skill required to make untethered Jailbreak. With untethered jailbreak, you can turn off and on your iOS device again without running the jailbreak tool again and all your jailbreak tweaks and apps would remaining as same. Pangu Jailbreak and JailbreakMe are the best untethered jailbreak for the older iOS versions. These jailbreaks can run directly from the mobile Safari web browser without a computer.
However, this spicy untethered jailbreak is a great achievement and needs to develop it as public untethered jailbreak. So, if they released it for iOS 11 untethered Jailbreak, definitely it can be updated for iOS 12.X & iOS 13.X versions. Because all these versions are Jailbreakble and already have semi-untethered Jailbreaks such as Unc0ver, Electra.
