Jailbreak iPhone with Ra1nbox device
Step 01 – Connect the Ra1nbox device to a USB power supply.
Step 02 – Then connect your iOS device to Ra1nbox device using the lightning cable. Once connected, tap the “Trust” popup dialog box.
Step 03 – Now you need to put your device in DFU mode. See the below of the page to get instructions to enter DFU Mode.
Step 04 – You can release the volume button once see the message on the Ra1nbox that the Checkra1n jailbreak process has started.
Step 05 – You can see the Checkra1n installing progress on the display. After a few seconds your iOS device will turn on and Checkra1n will install on it. Once done your device will reboot.
Step 06 – Now check the Ra1nbox display, it will ask you to safely remove the cable. Then unplug your iOS device.
Congratulations! You have successfully jailbroken your iOS device using Checkra1n portable device.
How to put DFU Mode
It has different methods to put your device into DFU Mode according to your device models.
iPhone X or iPhone 8 – Press and hold the Side button for almost 6 seconds, and then release it. Now immediately press and press and hold the volume down button and the side button together for approx 3 seconds. After 3 seconds, wait, release the side button only, keep pressing the volume down button for at least 5-8 seconds.
iPhone 7 or 7 Plus – Press and hold the side and volume down buttons together for almost 10 seconds. After 3 seconds, wait, release the side button only, keep pressing the volume down button for at least 5-8 seconds.
iPhone 6s, iPad, or iPod touch – Press and hold the Side and Home buttons together for approximately 10 seconds. After a 10 second wait, release the side button only, keep pressing the home button for at least 5-8 seconds.
