Nowadays CheckRa1n is the most popular Jailbreak tool.  Checkra1n was available to download for iOS 12.3 to iOS 13.3  jailbreak only MAC users before this latest release.

New Checkra1n 0.9.8 update out with more features. This is a major release that also brings a number of other improvements and enhancements. Also, these features already demonstrated at the BLUEHAT IL 2020 conference held on 5th-6th by qwertyoruiopz.

Checkra1n 0.9.8 beta New features

  • This update  has added iOS 13.3.1 Jailbreak support for Checkra1n officially as well as iPadOS 13.3.1. It has proved the iOS 13.3.1 Jailbreak possibility with CheckRa1n several times. Also, we should know that it should be compatible with iOS 13.3.1 running iPhone 5s – iPhone X. However, it was not officially confirmed. Therefore with this new Checkra1n 0.9.8 update iOS 13.3.1 support added.
  • This update comes with Checkra1n Linux support. So if you are a Linux user now you can go ahead with the Checkra1n Jailbreak process.  It has download links for Linux CLI, x86_64, arm, arm64, i486. Get details and download links from here.
  • Checkra1n 0.9.8 also introduced the brand new operating system as pongoOS for the very first time. Low-level patching is now handled by our all-new pongoOS. pongoOS is a mini-OS that can be used to have more flexibility, be faster and even load other operating systems.
  • Introduced Webra1n for checkra1n. It is an experimental web based UI for headless devices such as raspberry pie.
  •  Checkra1n for windows will be released soon. This work is ongoing.
  • It no longer requires the internet to open the checkra1n app.
  • Added a whole new CLI, built around ncurses, which now supports FastDFU, added a new version flag to the CLI for debugging purposes and new option in the GUI and CLI which allows for custom boot-args to be set.
  • Added an option to skip version checking for new iOS and iPadOS versions which haven’t yet been officially tested.

It seems CheckRa1n is getting more powerful with these Checkra1n 0.9.8 updates.
