Unc0ver Jailbreak coming for A12 / A13 devices – iOS 12.4.1 to iOS 13.2.3 Jailbreak

Unc0ver developer Pwn20wnd is going to upgrade the Uncover tool for iOS 13.2.3 Jailbreak. Recently, he advised A12 / A13 users to stay on iOS 13.2.3 or lower version. 

Currently, Unc0ver is available up to iOS 12.4 Jailbreak. If there is Checkra1n Jailbreak available up to iOS 12.3 to iOS 13.3 Jailbreak, it is not compatible with A12 & A13 devices. Therefore, he is working hard to add un0ver support for A12 / A13 devices up to iOS 13.2.3. It seems he does not consider iOS 13.3 because it patched several kernel bugs. 

As a first step he attended for Uc0ver iOS 12.4.1 Jailbreak.

Unc0ver iOS 12.4.1 Jailbreak 

A couple of days ago, developer released unc0ver v3.8.0~b1 adding A12 iOS 12.4.1 support for public beta testing. @ZecOps’s kernel exploit is used for this release. However, it only supported A12 iPhones such as XS, XS Max, Xr and does not added A12X iPad support yet. 

If you have an A12 iPhone follow these instructions to Jailbreak your iOS 12.4.1 device.

Jailbreak with Uncover

• Download Unc0ver v3.8.0~b1 from the Pwn20wnd’s Github page & latest version of Cydia impactor according to your OS version from here. 

• Launch Cydia impactor on your PC and Connect your device to the computer. It will recognize your device.

• Now drag the unc0ver.ipa file on to the Cydia Impactor window. Provide your Apple ID and the Password when asked. Then it will start the Unc0ver IPA side-loading process.

• Once complete the sideload, go to Settings → General → Profiles & Device Management and tap on your Apple ID and tap on the Trust button. 

• Now go to your device home screen and open the Unc0ver app.

• Then tap the Jailbreak button to start the Jailbreak process. (Before proceeding enable Airplane Mode, disable your passcode/Touch ID/Face ID, disable Siri, and reboot your device to increase the tool’s success rate)

• Wait for Jailbreak and Once completed you can see the Cydia on your iOS 12.4.1 A12 iPhone’s home screen. 

Above all, convert your ordinary iPhone into a Jailbroken iPhone. Enjoy!

Already Pwn20wnd proved the A12 Jailbreak possibility with Unc0ver. So, an Unc0ver full update for A12 & A13 devices same as iOS 12.4.1 will be released soon.
