Every parent likes their children to be literate also every child wants to spend their childhood playfully. This is where Literacy Could comes in to play. Room to Read, the Non-Government Organization that works in favor of children’s education introduced this platform to reach millions of children who cannot be directly benefitted by the projects that are handled by the organization. Early Childhood Literacy is the main focus of Room to Read.
Room to Read pictures a world in which every child can pursue a quality education that allows them to reach their full talent and contribute to their communities and the world. Furthermore, the organization seeks to convert the lives of millions of children in low-income communities by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. They are so passionate about child literacy.
As a result of a bunch of people doing good things for the good people, Literacy Cloud introduced. It is 100% free. Anyone with access to a computer or a smartphone can benefit from this system. John Wood former Microsoft executive is the founder of Room to Read. We can believe that the Literacy Cloud launched because of his technology background and hunger for child literacy.
The Literacy Cloud lets you select the right book for your kid’s age / appropriate reading level because Room to Read believes children should start reading in their native language and level of reading. Current Literacy Cloud holds only Indonesian books; however, most of those are available in English as well. Rumors say Room to Read will soon start digitalizing the books which they print in all ten countries where they work. These books are published through specially trained Authors and Illustrators to benefit their child literacy program.
