It has been a long journey, getting from there to here. After releasing six public beta versions and months of back-and-forth development. Finally, Android 10 (no dessert name!) is believed to be released today (Sep. 3). The Long waited, next-generation Android version 10 is rolling out for Pixel users today. According to web research, the Android Q OS will support Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL. Also, this update is a big step for Pixel users.

More about release

Google announced the 1st news about the Android 10 version preview version in March and then they shared more updated features during the annual I/O developer conference which held in May. In August Google announced that the new OS would no longer relate with desert names. As a result, they announced the name Q OS, however during that time, there were no updates on the release date.

In addition, Google has added some new features with every beta release to Android 10.0 beyond what the company announced and described at Google developer conference in May. Bubbles notification feature, full-on gesture navigation, and a slick Live Caption feature are few of those.

Furthermore, we believe that Android 10 is more focused on the privacy feature; some rumors say it is one of the marketing points of google. The Android Q also confirms this by having a dedicated section for privacy under settings app.

Web research says the Pixel owners could download Android 10 Q and install on Pixel series that was listed above. Rumors state that whether you are already testing the latest Android 10 OS beta, or you’re still on Android 9, you should receive an update notice on your Pixel as quickly as Google makes the final version available for download.

We were unable to find reviews or news stating that the update notification was displayed to download Android Q OS, but we are keeping our fingers crossed until the updates roll out. Comment us if you receive the updates.
