The well-known trash file removal tool iCleaner for iPhone now supports iOS 16

A few hours ago, Ivano Bilenchi, the creator of the app, tweeted information about a new release (version 7.10.0~beta 2). which makes major updates to iCleaner and iCleaner Pro. 

Now with the latest update, iCleaner has fixed all bugs that were identified in iOS 15 and higher versions.Most importantly, it has been successfully tested on iOS 16 by iOS testers and is confirmed to be iOS 16 compatible.

 

iCleaner version 7.10.0~beta 2 Fixes and improvements

  • Now It can evaluate and clean up with improved free space estimation when “Test mode” is active
  • Not remembering the open tabs during system reboots on iOS 15 and above versions were fixed

(by tapping on the app icon, you can add it to Cydia, Selio, or any of your favorite package managers.)

How to Install iCleaner with Cydia Package Manager

Once the iCleaner app is added to Cydia by following the above link, it should display in the package manager search.

  1. Tap on iCleaner App iCon and hit Install from the top right

  2.  In the next screen touch “confirm” to proceed further with the installation
  3. Once completed you will see a button that display Return to Cydia along with a message that display “Complete”

  4.  Now go to the home screen and open the iCleaner app by tapping on the icon
    This completes the installation of the app.
While opening the app, it will request instructions, which you need to set for the app to proceed with cleaning files. To proceed with the cleaning of junk files, tap the “Clean” button in the top right corner.

While cleaning the files, it will show the progress on the iPhone screen. Depending on the number of trash files available, this could take a few minutes. Once the cleaning is complete, iCleaner will request your permission to respring the device.

Soon, your phone will restart without the extra files and clutter that were occupying storage space before the cleaning.
