Checkra1n is the only available jailbreak tool for iOS 14.3 jailbreak. We already know that Chekrain supports all iOS versions running A5-A11 devices hence this checkm8 exploit can not patch via a software update. So, it can jailbreak the latest iOS 14.3 with Checkra1n too. The good news is Checkra1n officially added iOS 14.3 support with fixing crashing issues.

Download Checkra1n for iOS 14.3

Users can download the new Checkra1n 0.12.0 beta from the official site.
Also, follow the same guide which is used for previous iOS 14 versions.

What’s new on Checkra1n 0.12.0 ?

  • Enable USB on AppleTV 4k during normal system operation
  • Fixed A10 /A10X devices crashing when trying to jailbreak on iOS 14.3 or higher
  • Fixes an issue where some LaunchDaemons were loaded on platforms where they should not have been

Also, the Checkra1n team has planned to open-source the checkra1n, but they couldn’t do it by 2020. However, now they have fully open source the PongoOS including kernel patchfinder and SEP exploit. So, now pongoOS 2.4.5 is now available at Github as a fully open source project. PongoOS is a pre-boot execution environment for Apple boards built on top of checkra1n. Checkra1n team will release the full checkra1n opensource once the Checkra1n windows version is ready.

Checkra1n known issues

Still following issues not resolved.

  • A11 devices on iOS 14 & higher versions still require removing the passcode and enabling “Skip A11 BPR check” in the options. This method is not recommended, but anyone can try this method.
  • Does not work on Apple Silicon Macs
  • The Linux version does not work on A7 devices.
  • The exploit may not work as reliably on some devices such as the Raspberry Pi Zero and Raspberry Pi 3.
  • Linux GUI build when using CLI mode doesn’t support auto assertion of DFU mode on advanced Apple TV 4k breakout boards.
  • bridgeOS – Once disconnect the cable, as soon as macOS boots it’ll take over the USB connection and disallow communication with the T2.
  • Some users have reported checkra1n crashing when Chinese is set as the only system language. It is unknown whether any other language is affected.
  • Only available for macOS and Linux.
