As a result, Pangu team successfully Jailbreak iOS 15 running, Apple’s brand-new iPhone 13 Pro via a remote jailbreak at the $330,000 cash prize at the TianfuCup 2021. This time TFC 2021 International Cyber Security contest was held on Oct. 16th-17th at Chengdu, China.
The news was shared by Kunlun Lab CEO @mj0011sec via Twitter. He is former CTO of Qihoo 360, Founder of team 360Vulcan. Other than that, he shared the news that “ianfuCup, Kunlun Lab pwned iPhone 13 Pro remote code execution (mobile safari) on stage with only 15 seconds. Seems like they have collaborated and participating as one group for the contest.

Pangu will release iOS 15 Jailbreak to the public?
No at all, before this, Pangu Team member, Tielei Wang achieved jailbreak iOS 15 beta 4 and demonstrated it working on iPhone 11 Pro at MOSEC 2021 too.
From time to time the Pangu team has achieved 0day exploits many times using many iOS versions. But they didn’t publicize any of the exploits.
So, we can’t say iOS 15 or iPhone 13 jailbreak will come anytime soon. But the best part is Apple’s brand-new iPhone 13 can be jailbroken & there is proof of concept.
iPhone 13 is released with the most powerful A15 chip. Also, in iOS 15, Apple used a new security mechanism system volume signed (SSV) to protect the system. Because of these both facts, iOS 15 Jailbreak or iPhone 13 could be very hard. This achievement confirms it will not be a huge problem anymore.
