Pangu Team was the most popular Chinese Jailbreak team in iOS 7- iOS 9 era. For the very first time, the Pangu team released the Pangu Jailbreak tool for iOS 7.1.

Then continuously released the Jailbreak tools for iOS 8 versions as well as iOS 9 versions. However, their final release is iOS 9.3.3 Jailbreak tool. For the past 6 years, they have never released the Jailbreak tool for Public.

However, in 2015 they hosted the Mobile security conference “MOSEC”. Since then, they have organized the MOSEC every year with the Pangu Lab & PoC. Also, they have participated in hacking competitions and won prize money many times. Apart from that, they focus about Jailbreak demonstrations and disclosing details of vulnerabilities and exploits that can be used in jailbreak.

Will iOS 15 Jailbreak be released by Pangu Team?

After turning to security researchers, they will no longer provide jailbreak tools publicly. They help Apple to fix vulnerabilities and improve system security. However, the details of the vulnerability / exploit are disclosed via Github

So, the good news is iOS 15 has a vulnerability. So, jailbreaking will not die. Even though the Pangu team won’t release it, another jailbreak team could.
