Gathering information from the past few days gives us hits that a new jailbreak is coming soon for the iOS 14 and higher. The proof is solid. We just need to sit tight and wait for it. You may have seen other posts on our site that show how to jailbreak iOS 14 – iOS 14.4 but this was limited to the devices that have A11 or below processors. And it is a Hardware Jailbreak done using checkra1n.
Why do we think iOS 14 new Jailbreak is about to be released?
Recently we came across news about new exploits which hints about the Jailbreaks for iOS 14.
Here’s some proof on the subject.
LPE exploit
Pattern-f shared a post on Twitter testing the LPE exploit on a iPhone 12 which was on iOS 14.1
According to the jailbreak community, the LPE exploit is the best news for iOS 14 jailbreak lovers. And the exploit was confirmed on Twitter informing iOS 14 to 14.3 can be jailbroken using the LPE exploit. Furthermore, the news says it also works on newer devices running on A12 and A13 processors also including the iPads.
The only possible reason for not releasing the jailbreak public is that the 0 days exploit is not fixed by Apple. The Security researcher “Pattern-f” further informs that due to Apple’s exploit mitigation system the LPE exploit could make the iOS panic. Therefore the researcher seems to be working on identifying ways to get through the new iOS implementations which cause certain vulnerabilities for exploits in order to develop a jailbreak.
cicuta_virosa – iOS 14.3 kernel LPE
Further ModernPower Tweeted news on a cicuta_virosa – iOS 14.3 kernel LPE and here’s the latest news about its status.
Github confirms that the explicit works but still it is in the basic stage. Whoever uses it should use it at your own risk. Furthermore, due to the primitive status of the exploit, it takes more than two minutes to bypass the “Stage 3: Convert uaf into pktopts uaf.” This will be addressed soon. Reliability is described as ‘amazing’ on both A13 and A10 devices.

Odyssey Jailbreak for iOS 14
Odyssey Jailbreak has been popular among jailbreakers. It was available for iOS 13 – iOS 13.7. This time the developer CoolStar has joined hands with ModernPwner to get the cicuta_virosa – iOS 14.3 kernel exploit development on the fast track. On the other hand, Coolstar updated Lihooker for iOS 14. Libhooker is the tweak injection platform for Odyssey. So, we can assume Odyssey will upgrade for iOS 14 & higher with the same name or something cooler.
Jailbreak for iOS 14.4
From the information received still there is no guarantee that iOS 14.4 will receive a Jailbreak in the near future. Therefore it is always advisable to stay on iOS 14.2 or 14.3. Since Apple has stopped signing iOS 14.3 and older versions, we have no way of downgrading 14.4 or higher versions. However, we believe that the Jailbreak community will soon surprise us with the latest Jailbreaks. Stay Tuned.
