What is Filelinked

If you think of Filelinked as a third-party app store which is super easy to access, that could be the simplest explanation. It is a repository that lets users access required files through codes.

Like in other App Stores you don’t need to search and download 3rd party apk files. Because the code given with the filelinked does the job for you. It will download the file or files directly to your FireStick or the Android Box.

Here’s what we need to do. 1st allow the FireStick to accept applications from unknown sources. Then install the Downloader app from the store. Once you have completed installing the Downloader app you need to type a URL on the download app to get the Filelinked installed.

Note – for better security do not provide your real email address for any apps / services provided through third party app stores, filelinked or applications accessed through filelinked.

Installing Downloader App on FireTV, FireStick and Android TV Box

1. Go to settings by clicking the gear icon on your Amazon Fire TV Stick
2. Click on My Fire TV
3. Go to “Developer options”
4. Click on “Install Unknown Apps”
5. Turn On downloader option
   
6. Run the Downloader App on FIreStick. If you see any pop ups requesting access, you may need to allow those
7. Once the Downloader Application opens up go to the home tab and click the right-side space to type the URL. Now the keyboard should display on the screen.

8. File download should start, the file size is around 10MB
9. Next, you will see the click “Install” button on the bottom right-hand side. Navigate to install using the remote and click on it
10. Filelink should get installed in less than a minute
11. App Installed message on the center of the screen confirms this.
    
12. Next, click on Done. We are not opening the application right now
13. A popup screen will ask permission to delete the downloaded .APK file no longer needed, you can select DELETE and continue confirming the same in the next screen

This completes the installation of the Filelinked app on Amazon FireStick / FireTV. Filelinked application is available through the My Apps and Channels section.

How to use Codes with Filelinked App

Assuming that you are on a VPN we will proceed with the installation of apps using codes on Filelinked app.

Open Filelinked on your Amazon Fire TV Stick or the Android TV Box. On the home screen of the file linked it will ask for the Code.

Using the on-screen numeric pad, you can type the code of the application that you need to install. The code shown in the below screenshot is only for demonstration. Real filelinked Latest August 2021 codes are shared below. Click next and continue.

You may see a popup screen next, click DISMISS

Now, you should see the app or apps which are related to the provided code. If there is more than one app you can go to the required app by using up/down keys on the remote.

Once you reach the application that you need to download it using the down arrow / standard download icon

 Next, Install the app by clicking on the “PLAY” icon. As an example, checkout the Kodi APK in the below screenshot.

Follow the screen instructions to install the application. This completes the installation of apps using filelinked codes.
