Scam web for Apple jailbreak identified. Apphacks.co/Cydia known as a Survey scam web. They promote themselves as a Jailbreak provider for all iOS versions.
What is Apphacks.co/Cydia?
Apphacks.co/Cydia webpage registered initially on 16th Jan 2015. The site link is here. But we strongly advise not to visit the site as it is a Scam Web. We have tested and shared everything with you to keep you aware.
Logging into the site from a Safari or PC displays “Welcome to Cydia™by Jay Freeman (saurik),” as shown below.

Next, when you touch on any of the icons, it shows “Injection Required,”
Then a set of random apps are listed. According to the Apphacks co/Cydia web you need to complete installing two applications by following the exact instructions.
These apps are listed randomly; therefore, the screen that you see may differ from what we have shared. Once more, we recommended not to visit this Scam Site.


As we have tested several times, even after completing the tasks, you will not have access to Cydia.
What is Cydia?
Cydia is a package manager for Jailbroken iDevices. It allows installing third-party applications. Previously we have shared detailed posts on Cydia. Also, Cydia alternatives are available.

Cydia is not the only scam, App hacks is popular with providing many more servicers which arent real. As we have described above all of these require to complete installing apps or taking surveys. But filanny you get nothing other than a bunch of crappy apps. And your email will be filled with juck as you may need to enter email address during surveys.

Apphacks.co is conducting this scam program to earn money by getting users to install apps and complete surveys. Some sites actually provide what they promise after the requested task is completed. However, the apphacks doesn’t provide anything even after you complete the request.
How to be save from Apphacks.co or similar scam’s
- Always looks for the site for https:// (apphacks somehow has https though it is a scan so it’s just one thing among many other things that you need to consider.)
- Look for the site ownership/registration – some scam’s change domain names regularly.
- How professional the website looks – most scam webs do not consider having updated information or check grammar or spelling errors.
- Read reviews shared by others.
- It is always advisable to use known sites for downloading/ shopping.
- https://safeweb.norton.com/ is another web where you can check whether the site you are browsing is safe.
