Chimera 1.5.0 officially released adding support to jailbreak all iOS 12 versions with Procursus bootstrap. Accordingly, now you can jailbreak iOS 12 – iOS 12.4.9 with Chimera. Also, Chimera was released by the same Electra Team who released Electra for iOS 11- iOS 11.4.1 as well as Odyssey for iOS 13 – iOS 13.7. However, Sileo is the default app manager for Chimera like Odyssey.

How to Install Chimera Jailbreak with AltStore

Step 01 – First, install the AltStore app on your device. 

Step 02 – Download the chimera.IPA file from the official site.

Step 03 – Open the AltStore app on your device and go to My Apps.

Step 04 – Go to the top of the screen and tap on the Plus icon and tap the chimera IPA file from the list that loads on your screen.

*Step 05 – It will begin to install Chimera apps on your iPhone or iPad.  You need to sign into AltStore with your Apple ID and password to start this process.

Step 06 – Once done, you can see Chimera in My Apps in AltStore as well as on your device homescreen.

Step 07 – Then, open the Chimera app from your device and complete the jailbreak process.
