AltServer 1.5 major update that brings support for direct IPA sideloading with AltJIT

AltServer is used to sideload software via the AltStore application on macOS and Windows, for iOS and iPadOS. The AltStore Team released the AltServer v1.5 version with major changes such as support for AltJIT, direct .ipa sideloading, multi-device usage.  So now, AltServer 1.5 is a Mac and Windows application that can be used with or without AltStore. 

Here are the new features added with this new AltServer 1.5 update. 

  • Enable Just-In-Time (JIT) compilation with sideloaded apps with the new “Enable JIT” menu option
  • Sideload apps (.ipa files) directly to iOS devices without installed AltStore first
  • Install AltStore onto multiple iOS devices using the same Apple ID
  • AltPlugin can now be updated independently from AltServer

Also improved some existing features and fixed some issues.

How to install an IPA directly with the AltJIT feature

  1. Go to the official site to get the most recent version of AltStore.
  2. Install AltStore on your device. Before you begin, make sure your iOS device is connected to your computer. To install, sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  1. Go to Settings > General > VPN and Device Management > VPN and Device Management > VPN and Device Management > VPN and Device Management > App for Developers > Open it by tapping > Now is the time to put your trust in the Developer App.
  2. From the iPhone or iPad Home Screen, open AltStore.
  3. sign in using your Apple ID and password. > Settings > AltStore Register for a free account.
  4. Disconnect your device at this point.
  5. Open the AltStore application.
  6. Go to PC > AltStore > Enable JIT > Finish. Choose your device and turn it on.
  1. Launch AltStore. Now, on your computer, install any IPA.
  2. Hold the option button (macOS) or the Start button (Windows) to open AltStore.
  3. The Install AltStore button has now changed to Sideload IPA.
  4. Then choose your device. Choose IPA
  5. Now is the time to enter your Apple ID and password.
  6. Wait for the IPA to finish installing. You no longer need to connect your devices to your computer in order to install IPA.
