Tesla is finding ways of expanding the Solar Panel industry by inviting consumers to rent rooftop solar projects. Also, the Company is spreading this renting in six states.

- California
- Massachusetts
- New Jersey
- New Mexico
Small rooftop systems start from $50-$65 per month in California.
Furthermore, Anytime Cancellation is possible; however, the Tesla website states there is a charge of $1500 to restore the roof to its previous condition.
Though Tesla owns Solar City since 2016 however, rooftop Solar renting is a new initiative. Renting can also increase Tesla’s electric car market.
Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk shared the this news through tweets on Sunday.
