One day after the release of iOS 16.1, Apple has seeded the first beta of the upcoming iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 updates to developers for testing.
The iOS 16.2 and iPad OS 16.2 profiles are available for registered developers to download from the Apple Developer Center. Once installed, the beta will be made available over the air.
There are some features that have not yet been added, though we are not yet aware of what is in the betas. Apple will release a new Freeform app later this year and is currently working on Game Center upgrades, including SharePlay integration.
Update – According to a brand-new story from Bloomberg, Apple is now aiming to offer iOS 16.2 update to the general public around the middle of December.
