Netflix’s short-form “Fast Laughs” videos are now available on TV

“Fast Laughs,” a Netflix short-form video feature inspired by TikTok, is now available on the TV platform. The feature was previously only available on mobile devices, and it introduced users to new shows, movies, and comedy specials that they might enjoy.

“Fast Laughs,” like TikTok, provides a swipe able, vertical video feed on smartphones with react, share, and save buttons stacked on the right side of the screen. “Fast Laughs” will work a little differently on Netflix’s TV platform.

The opt-in feature will appear on users’ homepages, serving up short videos as they scroll down the page looking for something to watch. The videos can be accessed by using the arrow on the right side of the screen on your remote control.

You can see the program’s name and rating at the bottom of the screen, and you can choose to click a button labeled “More Info” to be taken to the title’s landing page.

The TV version of “Fast Laughs” will premiere with clips from Netflix films such as “Army of the Dead,” “Fatherhood,” and “The Kissing Booth,” as well as clips from TV shows such as “Big Mouth,” “Dead to Me,” and “Never Have I Ever,” as well as stand-up comedy from Ali Wong, Jo-Koy, and Jerry Seinfeld.

According to Netflix, “Fast Laughs” on TV is still a test feature that will initially be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.
