Few hours back apple made major changes to its iOS and iPad OS. Starting now the downgrading of iOS to 15.1 and 15.1.1 isn’t possible. Also, just a week after releasing iOS 15.2 Apple released 15.3 beta version.
Apple stopped signing iOS 15.1 and 15.1.1
Since last evening iOS 15.2 upgraded Apple devices no longer support signing iOS 15.1 and 15.1.1. In other words, the users with iOS 15.2 updated iPhones and iPads cannot downgrade and restoring previous versions of firmware. Apple may have processed these changes to avoid users from getting into data breachers. However, these changes affect the Apple users in many ways.

Why Downgrade iOS
Downgrading iOS is done for many reasons. Some does it for fun and others just upgrade to check out the new looks and feature. Then rollback to older version of iOS which they are comfortable with.
Anyhow the most of us love downgrading as we get to experience Jailbreaking features. Which is far more fun than using the standard iOS. Once you are used to the amazing customizations, tweaks and unlimited App Stores gifted by Jailbreaking it is hard to roll back. Thats the main reason people falls for Jailbreaking.
Before the release of iOS 14.8.1 users were able to downgrade using .shsh2 blobs. Also, there were no restrictions based on the verion of iOS. Now it has changed. However, still the older versions support downgrading.
